Sunday we made chicken street tacos! I bought a spice packet from Walmart for the chicken (Stubbs), cooked in the slow cooker and then assembled the tacos. I added diced onions, cilantro, Sriracha sauce, avocado, and sour cream on a jalapeƱo tortilla ( found at whole foods). After assembling the tacos we seared each side in a pan on medium hot with some olive oil until a little toasted.
Yum! So good!! (Added to "Mexican Recipes")
Im a little behind on my updates.... Oops. Last week we made Five Spice Turkey Burgers. Delightful! They are so light that David had two. I love the flavor. Best Turkey burger for sure! Chinese give spice, scallions, and Sriracha mayo on a Hawaiian bun...mmmm! Recipe is in "Dinners". Perfect recipe for this time of year. Nice BBQ on the porch. :)

Friday was David's sister Sarah's birthday party so I made her chocolate cupcakes with cookie dough frosting! We have been taking about these cupcakes for weeks! She loves cookie dough desserts so I had to try them! I added chocolate filling to the cupcakes and sprinkles on top! I just bought Hershey's premium chocolate cupcake mix and then made the frosting from scratch.

I just added a new video for how to make hummus just like the store! You can check it out on the right side of the blog under videos you'll see "Smooth hummus". I had made hummus before and thought I had it down until my friend Savannah brought some at work one day. Oh my gosh... it was WAY better than mine so I had to ask for the recipe. She sent me this video... it's the best hummus recipe ever! Enjoy :) I added the recipe to "Appetizer Recipes".
